Commercial Description:
Sold only on draft at the brewery. This unfiltered ale is fermented with a special wheat beer yeast which imparts a clove-like spiciness with vanilla or nutmeg notes and a fruitiness reminiscent of bananas or apples. Low in bitterness and mildly tart with a soft roundness characteristic of a Hefeweizen (hazy wheat).

Am I in Munich, no wait it's still Chico. This beer remindes me of my travels to germany. A nice unfiltered wheat in the hefeweisen style.

Had this at the World Beer Festival in Durham. This was kinda cool, the guy serving this beer at Sierra Nevada’s tent told me that I was drinking off of the first keg of this stuff to come to North Carolina. Pours a hazy yellow with thick white head. Smells of spice and bannanas. Well they certianly hit the bannana flavor well as it dominated the beer also big bubblegum sweetness present finishes with some clove action followed by tingly carbonation. Pretty good.

Draft. Darker hazy yellow color with a thick white head. Rich malty aroma with sweet banana notes. Clean and malty with more banana notes and a substantial hop bitterness.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a bleached head. Lively aromas with an augmented feel of clove, lemon, and banana. Mild grain flavor gives way to a boost of spicing and yeastiness. "Ruthless" is appropriate: this beer has oomph.

This beer rocks. The color, like most unfiltered wheat beers, is that of hooker piss with a yeast infection. Other than that, the aroma is very complex with hints of yeast, clove, banana and bubblegum. The flavor is very well balanced with a smooth as silk mouthfeel. The finish is dry and citrusy. Great Summer beer.
