COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You don’t need a magic mirror to see the lure of this beer. It’s brewed with seven varieties of experimental dwarf hops. These hops are so called because of their uncommon growing method—shorter hedgerows rather than tall trellis systems—that yields a denser heap of cones with unique flavors that diverge from their full-grown botanical counterparts. Each year new and different varieties are grown in this method, creating untried and exciting shifts in hop character.

Herbal, weirdly spicy, and a touch too bitter, but there are some nice citrusy notes and the nose is fairly pleasant despite the beer not being quite as good on the palate.

355ml bottle. Pours a cloudy medium straw, with a white head. Hoppy, citrusy aroma, yeast, wheat, coriander, grass, faintly phenolic, spruce. Dry, medium body, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, spicy, citrusy taste, spruce, grapefruit, yeast, coriander, light phenols. Quite balanced, refreshing. (2014-12-12)

Cloudy white in appearance, fruity perfume aroma, very wheaty, heavily carbonated, I struggled with this

Really cool beer. Really hoppy and excellent. Light apperance that has a distinct taste. Good for a summer morning.

Aroma is yeast, wheat and a touch of lemon, quite fresh smell. Taste is light malts, white crackers, biscuits a little peppery with a slight hop feeling and grapefruits. There is an india pale ale aura over this one, but leaning more towards wit bier and that’s where it sort of leaves me standing. OK and decent, but no mindtwister for me.

On tap at Bearden Beer Market. Slightly hazy orange and a white head. Smells tangy, lightly spicy and some orange notes. Taste is citrus and some herbal notes. Maybe some hints of spruces? Grassy finish. Odd, but tasty.

Pours a clear solid gold with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus and slightly sour malt. Flavour is thin and citrus and quite dry. Body is extremely thin but not refreshing and I don't have any idea when the first time since the update is so much fun to use the same thing as the new one for me. Finish is dry and slightly sour and bitter. Totally meh.
