Pours a rather cloudy, golden-yellow. Fairly strong floral aroma, with some hints of citrus. Flavor is rather bitter, with strong citrus notes in the forefront, followed by hop bitterness. A nice, smooth, understructure of sweet malt flavors rounds this one out. This is a very tasty IPA!

Ytterligare en Southern Hemisphere från Sierra Nevada som gör en poäng av att man kan brygga fresh hop två gånger om året med eftersom klotet har två sidor och det är ju bra tänkt. Doften rymmer mycket tropisk frukt som passion och ananas, men även krusbär. Den är frisk och relativt torr för att vara en IPA vilket jag gillar. Måttlig beska, väldigt lättdrucken men kanske inte direkt prisvärd. Humlen kanske har behövt åka ett halvt varv för mycket runt jorden och tappat lite fräschö men ändå en riktigt bra IPA.

A cloudy amber/orange body with a foamy off-white head and lots of lacing. It has a nice aroma of spicy hops and a bit of yeast and orange peel. The flavor is spicy and somewhat malty up front with a long and spicy aftertaste.

Originally rated 09/28/11. Pours super robust orange color, with amber mixed in there. Pretty cloudy, thin cap of a white head. Some bubbles seen sparkling up the glass. Smell is pretty citrusy, not super grapefruity bitter, some nice sweet malt character in there. Its got some spicy character too, and something I can’t quite put my finger on. Big orange in there though. Taste has big hop character up front; its like a really light and bright orange character, sweet at first and then the orange rind like starts having its way with the back of your mouth in the bitter which lasts to the finish. Your tongue are pretty well pillaged by an unexpected bitterness if that makes sense. Its got a really bright like flowery hop character upfront too. Its really light but really powerful. Light citrus zest, the malt is very light brown sugar. Its just an arc of different hop characters in a combo I’ve never experienced before. Kinda earthy too. No alcohol at all in the taste, and again it’s the bitterness that rides all the way through on this berr. Pretty light bodied, but nothing like champagne or anything. It’s a weird beer, and not like any IPA I’ve had really, but the flavours and mouthfeel really meld well together.

Pours deep copper, full white head. Very fresh pine & citrus aroma, taste is again very fresh with lovely caramel malt and citrusy bitter pine flavours. Not as aggressive as I like my hoppy brews, but brilliant nonetheless.

Decent ipa from Sierra Nevada. Love the idea of using fresh picked hops from New Zealand, but it just doesn’t have the hop punch that I like in a good Ipa.

Big fluffy head, sweet, creamy body, Orange flavored hops. Dry earthy aftertaste. Light Arima, translucent Amber color .

Bottled 650ml. -from Biererei, Vienna. Dark amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, fresh citrusy hoppy nose. Sweet malty, citrusy hoppy and some caramel with notes of agrums and light alcohol. Mild spicy touch in the finish. Another nice and tasty IPA.
