COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ale marks our journey to the only place on the planet where fresh hops are harvested in our spring, the Southern Hemisphere. Our task was daunting-we needed to get the hops picked, dried, flown halfway across the world and into our brew kettle in a little over a weekís time. The result is a North-by-South fusion of fresh New Zealand hops blended with the finest North American malts. Its robust hop character presents an intriguing floral-citrus aroma leading to layers of fresh-hop spiciness. Enjoy!

This ale had a very frothy head and a pleasing aroma. But most of all it was a very smooth IPA with good flavor from beginning to end. I bet it really tastes good on tap but I have to settle for a bottle which is ok by me!

Goldpour. Aroma big skunk at first - calms down into slight black tea, but still lots of skunk some buttery grain. creamy palate not much carb. tastes tangerine, buttery toast. slight herbal hops

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Aromas of sweet tropical fruits, caramel. Taste is citrus, pine, slight sourness. Finish is bitter marmalade. Was expecting a bit more, but itís still quite solid.

Definitely for those who love bitter bitter hops. And Iím one of those. Floral, pine, grassy and a little citrus in there. Fairly heavy in the body with some sweet honey notes to offset the bitterness. Great one. Like

Good beer but it leaves a bitter after taste. Normally hop beers do, but this one is heavier aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at BurgerMania in Ebisu. Amber with a thin off-white head. Honey and biscuits all over the nose with some pine and resin. Interesting spiced floral notes. Taste has some citrus, but seems muted by the malt. Bitter finish. Pretty underwhelming.

Draught at Burgermania. Honey malt, biscuit, notes of orange and apricot, marmalade, herbal spice, light bitter finish. Quite odd, a bit too heavy and hops donít shine very well unlike Hop Hunter or some of their solid hoppy brews.

Bottle from Plonk. Perfect appearance - amber/red with creamy head. big hop aroma, lingering high bitterness - appropriate for style but a little much for me. A superb IPA.

Medium amber color. The nose shows citrus with a bit of white wine though not too strong. Well balanced, medium body with slightly prickly hop character though the hops themselves donít shine so much. Overall decent beer but doesnít blow me away.

Lost & Found Tastenotes: 2014 version: Aroma is on the fresher side with hops, citrus and grass. The taste starts out fine, with the maltbase a bit more prominent than I expected, hints of peaches, apricots and some slight citrus break through and helps to develop the aura. But the thing is when the aftertaste sets in, it becomes "only bitter" and no freshness is there anymore?
