Deep dark brown with thick light brown head. Cocoa and coffee waft up immediately. Black roasted malt dominates the palate with just a faint amount of coffee in the end. Hop bitterness makes a good showing and is well balanced given the preponderance roasted malt character. What can I say, a stout stout.

33cl bottle. A very decent light stout. Nothing wrong with this one but nothing exceptional neither. Dominating black chocolate with orange peel. Aftertaste is mellow and quite hoppy. It is a very drinkable one without any strong dry notes. Why not.

(Sierra Nevada Stout) 355 bottle at the Hoppy Loft, into a tumbler. Very dark, almost black colour on the body, small but thick and creamy head, with good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of oats, fruits, even some citrus. Taste of oats, light liquorice, light roasted malts, quite a bit of chocolate. Thin body, low carbonation. Quite good, with a thicker body would be even better.
