Very original beer, with a singular interpretation of the stout style (in an American way). The appeareance is perfect, one the best I’ve ever seen in a stout: pitch black colour with a superb head, beige colour and solid as a rock. Great lasting and retention, but not too carbonated, the mouthfeel is very hoppy with a refreshing effect uncommon in average stouts. Very well balanced, with slight notes to coffee and roasted malts in opposition to (or complementing) the Cascade hop character. Very easy to drink, medium body and development. Very nice.
