Aromas a café, tostados y especiados.En boca tiene una densidad media, entra suave, y acaba con un amargor acafetado y especiado equilibrado. Una stout a tener en cuenta.

has the roasted toasted black malt. good smooth mouth feel but something feels off to me with the hop aftertaste almost something fruity that shouldn’t be there for this style pretty decent overall though

Black colour with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt with clear notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste of roasted malt and coffee with a distinct coffee bitterness. Although with an even bitterness that stays around. Taste of dark chocolate and with an okay body with a slight tendency of being watery.

This was a fairly decent stout on cask probably enjoyed it better than in the bottle. There were some nice caramel, chocolatey aromas. the taste was a little bitter with some lingering malty sweetness. Fairly full bodied creamy texture, no head and basically still, being cask conditioned and all.

355 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in New Town Plaza, Shatin.

Clear deep blackish brown colour with dirt-like yeast sediments; Half a finger head and beige foam which last for 40 seconds; Notable sticky lacing; Quite fragrant aroma of roasted malt, coffee, and nuts. Nice hop-induced grapefruit smell becomes apparent as the beer warms; Pleasant and savory sweet taste of roast malt, burnt toffee, black coffee, strong liquorices, bitter lime, strong grass and hops; Mid to light body, thin but slick palate; Taste profile is full of bitter dark chocolate, with roast malt took a back seat. Nuttiness, pretty lively and limey hoppiness made their lasting impression as well. Nice! Hoppiness is where this beer truly shines: lively grapefruit and lime astringency is subtle and tasty, expressive but not too strong and having a lingering finish. Yummy! Pretty dry after taste, quite easy and tempting to mouth.

Comments: It tastes like a typical stout at first: coffee and dark chocolate aroma, sweet roasted malt taste, and then the colourful hoppiness took over, with refreshing grapefruit and lime not to finish, but to seduce you for more. It may not be a traditional stout, with taste more like a hybrid with very strong IPA elements, but damn it tastes real good!

A decent enough Stout, nice aroma, good palate. Pours like a typical Stout with beige head. It has more hops than I’d expect from a regular Stout but they are not to over powering. It goes down well but lacks the character to make it stand out on it’s own.
