My favorites of the Sierrs Nevadas. Warming finish, bold body, great taste, but not too big to have another! and another.

Bottiglia 35cl @ Il Gallo Brillo. Molto buona.

Aroma is sweet malt, some hop presence, vanilla, hint of milk chocolate. Appearance is a dark brown, cola, with a light brown head. Taste is light, some roasted malt with a sweet chocolate hint. Mouthfeel is nice, soft carbonation although it is on the lighter side. Overall, it’s not bad but I was expecting more.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with light brown head. Good retention and plenty of lacing. Aroma is roasted, dark malt, slightly burnt, with a slight hop and alcohol background. Flavor is roasted, dark chocolate, very dark malt, with a mildly nutty, cocoa, bitter finish. Pleasant flavor profile, nice roast, slightly sweet, nice and chocolatey. Moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and crisp texture. Roasted, drinkable, well-balanced, a very enjoyable stout.

Can’t believe I had never tried one of these before. Pours as you might expect from a stout - dark with pretty good head, retention, and lacing. Roasted coffee, cocoa, toast, and a hint of fruit in the aroma. Flavors are mostly roast, cocoa, and cereal grains. Got a nice punch for a non-impy, but easy and light-bodied enough to session also. Might not *quite* knock off one’s socks, but it’s very, very well-balanced, which shouldn’t be surprising from the likes of Sierra Nevada.

Aromas a café, tostados y especiados.

has the roasted toasted black malt. good smooth mouth feel but something feels off to me with the hop aftertaste almost something fruity that shouldn’t be there for this style pretty decent overall though

Black colour with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt with clear notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste of roasted malt and coffee with a distinct coffee bitterness. Although with an even bitterness that stays around. Taste of dark chocolate and with an okay body with a slight tendency of being watery.
