A very dark beer with a tannish head. Tastes great. It doesn't have the typical coffee aftertaste. The taste is very light compared to other stouts.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Black body with a thin beige head that quickly fades to nothing. No lacing. Aroma of chocolate cake, vanilla, dark chocolate, espresso and black cherry. Flavour of treacle, burnt toast, plum and Marmite. Sweet then bitter. Medium body with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Nice fizz. Very malty and quite heavy going.

Fľaša. Tmavá čierna farba, krémová pena. Vôňa pražených sladov, čokolády, karamelu a kapučína. V chuti cítiť jemnú sladkosť, pražené slady, trošku karamel a v pozadí suchosť kakaa a tóny kapučína. Chmeľová aróma je len veľmi málo zastúpená. Stredne plné telo s ľahkým nasýtením. Fajnovo vyvážený stout.

355ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma, a touch of ashes, herbal hoppy overtones, a touch of dark berries. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, bitter hoppy, hints of bitter dark chocolate, cold ashes, cautious hints of coffee; smooth, soft, creamy, slightly sticky palate, lasting roasty malty finish with subtle sweetness. Not really (least of all "very") rich, not bearing fruit, not developing, no capaciousness.
