12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep brown with a finger-width tan head that settles to a film. Aroma is dry like coffee and roasted malt. Taste is smooth, heavy on the roasted malt, light on the hops. Slight dry finish. Good stout!

Sierra Nevada delivers again, their porter used to be my favorite but it has some competiton from their stout. Speaking of their stout it pours a dark black body with adequate carbonation, a thick tan head that disapates fairly quick and it leaves good lace. Aroma of toasted malts and a slight hint of fruit. Flavor of chocolate hits first, then the toasted malts creep in with fruits present in the background. The mouthfeel is slightly bitter and it has a dry finish. Overall a pretty good stout, another good beer from sierra nevada. Originally rated on 10/17/08
