A black-bodied beer with a beige, fully lasting head that covers the glass in lovely draperies. Malty, moderate aroma with burnt notes and ash. Quite strong flavour of hard roasted coffee with ash and fruity notes in the back. Moderate to light sweet with a light dry and moderate bitter finish. Fantastic mouthfeel! It has a creamy and smooth texture, it’s mid-bodied and has a moderate carbonation.

35cl bottle. Clear black colour with a very thin tan head. Chocolate, roast and vanilla aromas. Average to soft carbonation and medium oily body. Taste is well balanced starting with sweet notes and finishing in more bitter and dry notes. Overall, a very nice brew.

Pours a dark ruby with a foamy off-white head. Has an aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel, roasted malts, and some bitterness in the finish. Solid, tasty beer.

(Bottle) Very dark brown, essentially black, with short-lived, thin tan head. Nice aroma, dark roast malt, smoky peaty hints, coffee perhaps. Medium body with decent carbonation. Sweetish rich start with some balancing acidity, develops darker earthier flavours with burnt notes over dried fruits, leading to a finish with some hints if bitterness but mainly dark roast rather than hoppy. Pleasant enough, but seemed a bit light on flavour to me considering how highly it is rated. Not complaining though, it’s a very good beer.

A képviselt stílus keretein belül vizsgálódva tehát mindenképpen tökéletes választásnak számít.

Bottle 0.35 L @ home; pours very dark brown to black with reddish - rubyn fleshes (when obsere it up infrotn of a light), with good lacing beige head. Aroma is preaty light, I detected some roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and some hop aromas. Taste is very well balanced, pleasent sweet at the begining, with dark chocolate, caramel and coffee flavours, but ands with moderately burnt malts and hops bitterness. It has an oily tecture, full body, soft carbonation. I expected a bit stronger, more prominent aromas, but overall it is a very well balanced and easy drinkig stout. Not bad at all.

Pours a clear black. Exceptional head, lacing and retention. Light nose of chocolate, roast and caramel. Almost full bodied, yet creamy. Normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is very well balanced, but not as complex as the world class stouts. It’s a nice blend of chocolate, roast and slightly sweet caramel that flows into a low level bitterness. The finish is smooth leaving you with a nice lingering tingle of cocoa and hops.
