| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 22, 2009 straw pour with a slight fizzy head and an effervescent character. slight hop aroma and light grassy notes. mild malt character in the mouth, but nothing that sets this above many other halfway decent light lagers. So ill stick with halfway decent and certainly drinkable maltdog (514), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Clear sunny yellow, spongy white head. Gentle malt aromas whisper grass, green bananas and honey. Crisp with the butter-balsawood taste I normally associate with American pilsner malt, plus a little bit sufury/minerally/skunky. A touch of DMS in the aftertaste. Medium bodied and gassy. jbye4334 (658), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Aroma is sweet grass and some earthiness. Taste is sweet pale malt and a bit of caramel. Pours a crystal clear straw color with a good finger of bubbly foam that quickly dissolves and leave a fine ring around the glass. The aroma has sweet nutty malts and some earthy, grassy hops. The flavor is sweet caramel malt upfront that is supported with some bitter hops towards the end. Its a light bodied beer with lots of carbonation. Summerfest is a very easy drinking beer but I’m still trying to work into the lager thing so I probably won’t be grabbing more of this soon. KnN (716), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
