BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Jul 21, 2008 Not impressed. Very skunky and yeasty. Smooth, but almost undrinkable. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest. dwaggs2 (532), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Jul 18, 2008 Not what I expected from Sierra Nevada. I know that this is a summer beer, but not a lot of taste in this one. Poured a pale golden color with a head that left quick. It has a fruity taste with a little bitter in the finsh. Not as good as other Sierra Nevada’s. I am a fan of Sierra Nevada but this one was not up to par. Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Jul 18, 2008 POurs a pale gold with a medium white head.
Aroma is light grassy hop, white grape fruity tones.
Flavour is grassy hop, good bitterness through the body. Pale grainy malt backing.
Crisp bitter finish. Nice and refreshing. Hance07 (192), DownSouth, Georgia, USA Jul 14, 2008 Pours light golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is a little skunky which i didnt expect it to be. Flavor is also a bit skunky with some hops and not much aftertaste. I really do love Sierra Nevada but I think they should stick to the ales and leave this lager alone. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Jul 14, 2008 Clear golden with a wispy white head. Nice bready malt, grassy and spicy hop aroma. Easy drinking light/medium body. Nice dryish grainy malt flavors with a crisp clean finish. Great hot weather brew. 2008 bottling. glennmastrange (809), hobe sound, Florida, USA Jul 14, 2008 Bottle. Light malt notes of grain, moderate hops of herbs and grass, light soap for the yeast, with wood and pepper in the background. Head is frothy white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear amber. Flavor starts very lightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a lively carbonation. Crisp and refreshing just like the label says. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Jul 13, 2008 Pours a lighter golden color with a white head. Aroma is floral hops and grassy tones. More hops come out on the flavor which was better then I was expecting it to be. Slightly bitter finish on this one. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 13, 2008 Pours a nice light straw color. Limited head with an aroma of wheat, hops, and some malts. Taste is refreshing-wheat, and malts mostly.
