NeoHippie2 (173), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Jun 18, 2008 Ah, another good one from sierra nevada. this was a very interesting brew. Pours a pale amber with a frothy white head has a bit of lacing as well. Very frefreshing feel in the mouth with just the right touch of a tangy hop bite at the end. Perfect for summer! illidurit (851), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jun 18, 2008 Poured into a pint glass. Gold color with a white head that leaves no lace. Saaz aroma is immediately apparent. Pale malt comes through in the nose too. Flavor is mildly tangy, with lemon and a touch of spice atop a sweetish malt base. Refreshing and drinkable. gueuzeisgod (109), Graham, North Carolina, USA Jun 17, 2008 Bottle, poured into a .4l dimpled mug, created two finger head that gradually collapsed down, leaving a trace of lace. Smells very fresh and crisp, no diacetyl detected. Hop character is floral and mild, doesn’t seem like saaz to me, but that’s what the description says. Body is malty, some residual sweetness, good crisp, clean hop bitterness- though not quite as hoppy overall as I would expect a Sierra beer to be. Good drinking beer, just not quite up to the standards of SN, I believe. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Jun 17, 2008 very pale, straw yellow pour with a small white head. malts on the nose along with a bitter scent. it’s quite malty and thin on the palate and the bitterness is actually not that bad. hillfiiiiire (283), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 Yellow body with a thin white head. Grassy, malty aroma. Smells kind of awful really. A slight hop bite on the tongue. A bitter finish to it. Bubbly mouthfeel and a mildly bitter finish. It’s just not doing it for me though. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jun 17, 2008 No bueno in a bottle: disappointed in this summer beer. Pours a golden color that has barely any head and bubbles. Tastes like a better coors light or something around those lines. emerica56 (575), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Jun 17, 2008 Pours a color clear yellow color with a thin head that fards rather quick. The nose is very malty and bready with that hint of spice and subtle hops. The initial flavor is lightly carbonated with some pilsner malt and some hop notes but nothing too bitter. It is overall a nice refreshing beer but could use some spice and flavor on the palate. It is a very light beer and lacks complexity. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 17, 2008 Pale yellow with a big white foam head. Nice lagery nose and some floral hopes. Nice clean malt taste up front that hits with a nice bittering finish. Nice crisp drinker. Very good.
