Very smooth start and even smoother finish. I plan on drinking a few more this summer. I hope Bob orders some more. EithCubes (2146), Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2008 Bottle. 08 bottle, first time I’ve seen the blue border. Sweetish pale male and a hint of grain under the otherwise sharply acidic/citric nose. Clear pale yellow body with a large white soapy head. Taste of spritely citrus and pale malts, delicate and zingy, all built on this sturdy bready foundation which lasts for a good while. Lightish body but not watery - there’s substance here - and a refreshing lick from Mr. Lemon at the end. Simple and well-made; imagine all the added joy in the world if macros were of this quality. Pours a pale amber with a frothy white head has a bit of lacing as well. Very frefreshing feel in the mouth with just the right touch of a tangy hop bite at the end. Perfect for summer! illidurit (876), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2008 Poured into a pint glass. Gold color with a white head that leaves no lace. Saaz aroma is immediately apparent. Pale malt comes through in the nose too. Flavor is mildly tangy, with lemon and a touch of spice atop a sweetish malt base. Refreshing and drinkable. gueuzeisgod (109), Graham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Bottle, poured into a .4l dimpled mug, created two finger head that gradually collapsed down, leaving a trace of lace. Smells very fresh and crisp, no diacetyl detected. Hop character is floral and mild, doesn’t seem like saaz to me, but that’s what the description says. Body is malty, some residual sweetness, good crisp, clean hop bitterness- though not quite as hoppy overall as I would expect a Sierra beer to be. Good drinking beer, just not quite up to the standards of SN, I believe. mar (1804), Dallas, Texas, USA

A slight hop bite on the tongue. A bitter finish to it. Bubbly mouthfeel and a mildly bitter finish. It’s just not doing it for me though. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
