Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a clear yellow with a small and quickly diminishing head. Virtually no lacing. Aromas of light grain, vague citrus. Flavor is sweet with a dry, watery finish. Miles away from their best offering, it's still relatively refreshing after a long day. Acquire. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma isn’t something to write home to momma about, it smells clean, fresh and smooth. The taste is best described on the label, "crisp", and I can write that in bold letters for you if you want, "CRISP!". Besides being crisp, there is an interesting underlaying taste that I can’t really describe? "Mature" maybe, or "ample" or maybe even "detailed"? I don’t know, lets just say that this is a "Summerfest" for your beer cravings.

Bottle from Sugaya. Grassy nose with sme light citrus. Pale straw color. Decent grass, hay, light smooth pale malt, grain, good bittering, and a slightly dry finish. Thin-medium body. Clean and crisp. Very sessionable, if a touch unexciting. Well made.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 330ml bottle poured in a Leffe chalice. A: Pours a pale and bit cloudy yellow color forming a big, fluffy and aired white head. Retention is medium to small. Some lacings are formed and left S: Smells like a Czech Pilsener :). Sweet malts and hops, basically. Very grainy and bready. Saaz and citric hops on the nose T: As the nose. Sweet malts upfront followed by a pleasant hoppy bitterness. Again, very grainy beer. Bready Lager yeasts. In overall, a dry beer with nice stingy hoppy end M: Light body. Good carbonation. Nice persistent bitterness in the aftertaste O: Very drinkable beer. A little bit more creamy than an "real" Czech Pilsener and perhaps a bit too bready. In any case, Sierra Nevada quality... Bottle from Drinkstore [250914]
Light pale yellow, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of pale malt, slight grain
Taste of pale malts, soft sweet cereal, light bread, touch of spicy hops
Palate - Medium carb, light body, bit oily. Finish of slight bitter hops, sweet light pale malt
Overall - Dull lager, forgettable. Easily the bottom of the Sierra Nevada beers I’ve tried

Láhev 355 ml. Aroma je sladové s jemnými podtóny ovoce a karamelu. Pěna je jasně bílá, jemná, vysoká a držící. Barva samotného piva je žlutá a lehce kalná. Chuť je svěží sladová s opravdu lahodným nárazem svěží citronády a lehkými pomerančovými podtóny, finiš je středně, suše hořký, připomíná hořkost neslazeného zeleného čaje. V ústech pivo působí lehce, má střední říz a je velmi dobře pitelné. Jedná se o velmi zajímavý světlý ležák, chuťově originální a svérázný.
