COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

A decent offering from Sierra Nevada. Good on a hot day as the name goes. Overall I’d say a nice gateway beer.

Bottle from mane liquor. Nice light golden pour. Aromas of grassy hops, honey and biscuit malts. Taste is super light with a herbal grassy hop finish. Solid stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle pours a pale golden color with a thin white head that leaves light lacing. Smells of light malt spicy hops and lemon. tastes of the same things but slightly muted. Mouthfeel is light with medium carbonation. Pretty bland for a Sierra Nevada beer to be honest. Decent for a craft pilsner though.

Above average but pretty dull for this brewer. Pale and watery with some pale ale hints.

May 2010. From bottle. Golden color with a white head. Aromas of malt, honey, fruit, yeast. Fresh with medium carbonation. Light hoppy finish.

Bottle - Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Nose is sweet honeyed corn malt, sugary with some floral hops. I’m not wild about the malt, but the hops save it. Taste is soft, with mineral, corn, sweet honey, and a floral/herbal hoppiness. Finishes with a light bitterness that sticks in the back of your throat for awhile. Light and fluffy body. Not too shabby.

Pours a bright sunny yellow. Aromas are of grains. Typical lager stuff. The flavours are nice though. Hoppy with notes of sour and bitter lemon.

12 oz 2013 bottle served in a lager glass. Pours golden with excellent clarity and a massive amount of carbonatoin bubbles. The carbonation level is high, but seems appropriate for style and is softly prickly. Quite true to style. So much so that I was about to point out that this "lager" was remarkably like a European Pilsner until I paused and read the back label ("... classic Pilsener-style beer") and saw Saaz hops listed in the ingredients.
