May 23, 2008 Bottle; pours a very clear gold with a white head. A lot of visible carbonation streams. Aroma was pretty solid for the style; a balance between lightly toasted, bready malts and lemon/grass hops. Flavor was surprisingly good; some pilsner elements. Balanced flavor with some nice, earthy hopping. Respectable, refreshing brew.

May 22, 2008 Summerfest 2008. Pours a clear golden color. Advertised as a lager but almost has aroma and taste of a weak pilsner. Not what I was expecting so it was disapointing from that aspect. As with the other reviews I have read, this does remind me of an average/below average macro.

May 21, 2008 Maybe it’s due to years of drinking macro brews, but I fail to find anything exciting about this beer. While not as watered down and corny as a pale lager, there isn’t much to impress. Nice and fizzy on the tongue and a nice distraction from the Kolsch-wannabes that tend to be passed about as summer beers.

I’d pass on this unless you find a single bottle to try.

May 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a lacy white head. Lightly sweet aroma with a touch of floral hops over the malt. Medium body and carbonation. A bit unusual for a style that is usually light bodied and watery. Lightly sweet taste with some fruit and honey. The finish is more flowery than crisp - I’d like it better the other way around. Not a terrible beer, but way short of fabulous.

May 20, 2008 Pours a mid-golden. Foamy white head. Aroma is pretty hoppy. Flavor is also pretty hoppy. Little bitter, not bad.

May 19, 2008 On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours pale yellow with a nice white head, good lace. Smells a bit subdued, light malty. Tastes grainy malty and hay like, can’t tell if the hay flavor is from the hops or what. Thin body, good carbonation.
