Butters (1622), Virginia, USA May 14, 2008 Bottle 2008. Aroma Clean and lemony. Straw color with slightest bit of haze and white head. Slight medicinal taste with saaz hops evident. Smooth and refreshing but I don’t really care for it. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA May 13, 2008 poured into pint glass, pours a very light orange almost yellow and very thin quickly fading white head. the smell is mostly hops maybe corn not sure though. This is a pretty light beer, there isn’t a whole lot of flavor here that stands out compared to the other Sierra Nevada brews. Perhaps one of my least favorite of the brewery. zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA May 13, 2008 Nice and clean sparkling puor. Mostly malt with a nice hop finish. Decent palate. Fine lawn mower beer. Hard water warsteiner. pumpkinheart (63), Aurora, Illinois, USA May 12, 2008 Bottle into Lager glass. Pours a rich, white-headed sun yellow. Aroma gives me some light floral and citrusy hoppiness, grains and a louch of malts. Flavor is basically the aroma, but a shade more bitter. Finishes with a mostly clean bite, although it kind of stuck on the palate a bit odd. Overall, a passable beer. Not too bad for just sitting around drinking, although the cost for a micro makes me expect something a bit more than one would get from a cheaper macro. ditmier (1020), Boise, Idaho, USA May 11, 2008 2008 Bottle - Pours a translucent yellow with a slight white head, aroma of fresh grain and hops, taste is way more bitter than I expected (like an american heineken with more character), pleasant balance of hop and grain, indeed a great summer ale... Maverick34 (686), New York, USA May 11, 2008 POurs yellow w/decent head. Some nice grassiness. Pretty well done lager and easydrinking of course. douglas88 (1556), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA May 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. The aroma is malts and a mild sweetness. The flavor is pretty basic; some smooth malts with a carbonated body, a bit of hops and bitterness. Not bad at all. Easygoing for sure. HonkeyBra (1266), Lemont, Illinois, USA May 9, 2008 Golden pour with a foamy head. Smells of malt and a bit of hops. Kind of a bitter taste with balanced malt, very smooth and light bodied. Seems like a good session beer when it’s too hot for high gravity beers.
