blindeyedbetty (148), Arlington, Virginia, USA Apr 26, 2008 12 oz. bottle poured crisp clear golden color with lazy white head. Aroma of sweaty butt crack in the summer time. Not pleasant. Initial palate was hoppier than I’d expected with malty wheat in middle and bitter finish. Watery and thin without any particularly interesting flavors. Kind of one-dimensional. Strange beer for me, nothing like any lager I’ve tasted before and definitely my least favorite of the SN line. ELab2 (38), USA Apr 26, 2008 Pretty good. Nice golden color. Very mild aroma with just sort of a generic hoppy beer smell. Little bit of a hoppy bite but not much. Pretty bland and shallow. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Apr 26, 2008 Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Has the distinct hop aroma of a european pilsner ... and pretty much the taste too. Not their best offering. msiano (30), Belmar, New Jersey, USA Apr 25, 2008 2008 from the bottle... Had a nice golden color with about an 1/2in head when poured from the bottle . There was a nice crisp Hop taste perfect for a summer at the beach. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Apr 24, 2008 From the tap at North Third poured a amber color with a fair amount of head. Good flavor hoppy, with a quick finish. iride15 (169), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 24, 2008 I was surprised at the amount of hops added to this. It’s not the best that I’ve had, but some of the different qualities added to this makes it its own unique twist. A decent drink, but I’ll stay with their Pale Ale. GreatLibations (1440), Last Supper, Arizona, USA Apr 23, 2008 Summerfest pours a light golden color with a tall head that lingers. Aromas of skunky citrus and putrefied vanilla cream. Light nectar with ample residual effers. Clean and crisp with snappy hoppsy citrus rind and slight biscuiting. The finish is bittered nicely. This is one of the best lagers out there. A great session beer. JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 23, 2008 Marks for Appearance are an average, as beer was sampled in weak artificial light after dark. Very grassy nose, pale malts out in force. Again very grassy qua taste, slight & fine sweet touch, crisp. Very fizzy MF, ’smooth’. Light crisp lager - exactly what it says on the label...
