Commercial Description:
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Beginning Gravity: 11.8 Plato
Finishing Hops: Saaz
Ending Gravity: 2.7 Plato
Malts: Two-row Pale, Dextrin Malt, Munich

2008 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a 3 finger head that quickly dissipates into a film. Nose is grass, malt and a bit of hops. Palate is malt and mild hops with just a touch of bitter in the finish. Nothing special, but it is what it was intended to be – a refreshing session summer beer.

Smells like a lager, good bitter taste in the mid palate. Finishes clean and crisp with a touch of wheat.

bottled. crisp and refreshing with a nice wheat finish that keeps the subtle European hops from protruding too much. great for summer or if you like easier beer this isn’t bad.

Pours golden with a big white head. Aroma is bready malt and a tiny bit of hops. Flavor is mainly pale malt, with a nice crisp finish. A decent brew and it was cheap since these were leftover six packs from last summer the liquor store was trying to get rid of.

Had this on draft at BJs. Golden in color with an ok head. Some hop and malt balance in the aroams. Taste is pretty easy and smooth and not too much of it. Pretty good if you were hot and need a thirst quencher.

Pale gold color with a decent head. Aromas of wheat and pale malts. Flavors of grain, a little spicy, and a slight hop bitterness in the finish.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy, yellow-orange body with a small, fizzy white head. Smell: Pale malt aroma with notes of floral, spice, and the juice of half a lemon. Taste: Pale maltiness accompanied by a mild sweetness. A bit crackery, but then again, aren’t we all? Hint of lemon, flowers. A punch of spicy bitterness. Finishes crisp with a light, lingering spice on the tongue. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A nice little surprise. It’s quafftastic!

the lowest quality beer i’ve come across from SN but probably because it was a old bottle.. grainy aroma with almost no hops left.. taste was basic grainy, light malt. body was thin but foam was impressive and thick.
