Grainy sweet wheatish aroma. The flavour is a bit sweet with grains and malt. KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Feb 10, 2008 [Tasting @ yespr – Courtesy of yespr (Vintage 2005)] Clear golden with no head. Aroma has fruity and sweet malty notes. Grainy and grassy flavor with light caramel notes. yespr (11644), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 9, 2008 12 fl oz bottle, 2006 vintage. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Slight grainy aroma. Flavour is grainy with an almost disappeared hops note. Ends with a little bitterness. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 8, 2008 Bottle.[Tasting session @ yespr, thanks for a great evening Jesper] Average egg-white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Light cloudy pale golden colour. Aroma of dusty grain, mash, hint of caramel. Not much hops to be detected, properly because this was bottled in 2005. Over the palate some light notes of hops can be felt. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavour and light bitterness. Light dry and sweet finish. GaltScat (195), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Feb 3, 2008 The aroma is a mild malty breadiness. Pours a clear yellow gold with big bubbles and a small white head that has been hanging out for a minute now. First flavor is the bread malt followed by slight sweetness then a nice crisp hoppy finish. A little bitter but mostly crisp. Light bodied. Easy drinking, but tasty. Definitely better than any pale lager brewed by gigantic American breweries. Also reminded me of a pilsner style beer, probably due to the Saaz hops.
