TheLeadDog (101), Kent, Washington, USA Nov 25, 2007 Slightly dry, mild. On the lighter side. Nice light golden color with fast disappering head. A good Summer ale as it goes down good ojn a hot day. oteyj (716), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Nov 15, 2007 Pours light amber with small head. Aromas of citrus, malt, and hops. Flavours much the same with a floral hop bite. Nothing extraordinary though- but quite refreshing. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA Nov 9, 2007 Pours a light golden with a thin head. Initial aroma was a tad skunky but that quickly disappeared and turned into more of a candied corn , light malt and hop. Flavor was also sweetened corn, light malts and citrus. Finish was mildly dry and bitter. Not bad. hombrepalo (748), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 5, 2007 Bottle. Poured out with minimal head and slight citrus aroma. Nothing special about this beer, a smmother less bitter, less hoppy taste that the original SN. Not bad but not exceptional! RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 4, 2007 Had this beer on 7/8/1999. Color is a light golden with low carbonation and head. Aroma is a light bland malt scent. Taste is light and plain. It starts with a light body that goes down a little sharp with a light malt flavor that is like most premium mass produced American beers. The finish is a mild bitterness. It’s not as refreshing as a summerbrew should be, in fact it seems to me to be just a strong Bud. demitriustown (689), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA Oct 27, 2007 12 oz bottle: Aroma has a nice mild hop aroma for a lager with a bit of a bread and spice texture to it too. pours a translucent golden with a medium to large sized white head that lingers. Taste is got a nice hop texture, somewhat grainy, very light malt notes with a but of woodsiness lingering on. Palate is lightly bitter and carbonated. Overall, Decent Lager from Sierra. Nothing really that special. MoDog (909), Griffith, Indiana, USA Oct 23, 2007 Poured from a 12oz. 2007 bottle, and served in a shaker. This beer poured a clear golden color with a small head of white foam that quickly faded away into a small layer of film. Not much lace to speak of. The aroma of the beer was made up of light hops, caramel, and sweet malts. The flavor included grass, light caramel notes, bread, sweet malts, and a touch of bittering hops. The mouthfeel was clean and light-bodied with a heavy dose of carbonation. For a lager, this was actually a decent, tasty brew. Very well crafted and highly quaffable. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA Oct 15, 2007 didn’t read the label, expected a wheat, found a lager with a bite to it, enjoyed it, will buty next year
