Commercial Description:
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Poured from a 12oz. 2007 bottle, and served in a shaker. This beer poured a clear golden color with a small head of white foam that quickly faded away into a small layer of film. Not much lace to speak of. The aroma of the beer was made up of light hops, caramel, and sweet malts. The flavor included grass, light caramel notes, bread, sweet malts, and a touch of bittering hops. The mouthfeel was clean and light-bodied with a heavy dose of carbonation. For a lager, this was actually a decent, tasty brew. Very well crafted and highly quaffable.

Bottle, 350ml. Aroma floral hops, citrus, caramel, touch malt. Taste is fairly malty with grapefruit and biscuit notes. A moderately bitter finish. Moderate carbonation. Quite like a strong bitter. OK, but not outstanding.

Smells of straw , very pleasant. Pours a crystal clear very pale golden yellow color with a nice fluffy white head. Taste is very bubbly, like mineral water, slightly bitter. Very tasty and refreshing.

Pours a golden yellow colour with a fizzy larged bubbled white head. Aroma of grassy hops, slight fruits and malts. Initial taste of stale hops, wheat, and some sweet malts. Finishing with a light plum and bitter hops. Very dry and palate duration is good but as the duration continues palate becomes distasteful. Definitely a smooth lager, im not sure if I would drink this one again.

Pale golden color, nice frothy white head. Nose is mostly sweet malts. Slight hints of lemon and straw. Nicely carbonated but slightly unbalanced. Not as hoppy as I would have liked. Decent, but certainly not great.

35cl bottle. It pours clear and golden with a bare white head. Sweet and fruity nose with floral notes. Predominantly malty flavour profile with a light dose of grassy hops for good measure. It’s light to medium in body and the carbonation is apparent on the tongue. The finish is dry and lightly fruity.

Bottle. Thought I had better try this before the summer was gone and this beer could not be found any longer. The beer pored a brilliant yellow with a very white head to it. The taste was ok with a floral to fruity taste with a distinct bitter hops end. Glad I tried it, but will not be one a buy a bunch of to store up for winter.
