Commercial Description:
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Bottled. Mediumsized white head. Aroma is malty, grassy and hoppy. Flavour is quite malty with some grassy and flowery hops. OK, but not very exciting.

bottle. pours clear yellow gold with thin but lasting white head. aroma of malt, grass. very interesting taste, its got the lager body and malt profile with a nice gentle fruity hop. mild bitter finish. moderate carbonation. nice balance of lager and floral hop. under-rated imo.

Clear pale gold with lots of bubbles and a good sized head. strong aroma of straw and some lemony stuff. Flavor is a little grassy, nicely hopped with a refreshing carbonation and dry finish. Definitely one of the better lagers i’ve had, and this will be a great summer time beer. It’s definitely a lager but it is by no means wimpy or watery. The more I drink it the more I like it! Hard to ask much more out of a lager type beer.

Bottle sampled. Pours a pale yellow with a big head. Aroma of light malt, grass, and floral hops. Flavor is light to medium body with wheat, light citrus and bready malts with a bitter hop bite

(Bottle) Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is pretty weak, with some light hops, dust, and grass. Even malty backbone in the taste. It’s an mediocre beer, and a disappointment coming from Sierra Nevada.

Mid gold in colour, has a finger thick white head lasts well & leaves a good lace, also has a good bead of bubbles. Attractive floral nose, hint of malt too.Fairly full bodied, smooth and malty, with a gentle hoppy character. Clean and refreshing and has flavour too! Very nice beer. Tesco.

Pours a golden colour with a little white head that soon disipates. A nice grassy smell with definite hop and resinny notes. The flavour is hoppy and quite bitter, for a lager, but with a malty, sweet aftertaste.

Pours clear golden with a rocky, white head. Your typical lager aroma but with more pronounced hops, and a little sweet fruit malts. Definite Malt backbone. Body is smooth with proper carbonation. Malt is strong in the flavor with a bit of hop citrus, and fruit. Crisp, short finish. Above average, but probably not something I’d drink again.
