Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Traditional lager style, but with a bit more flavor. Not much of a hop flavor, but good, crisp finish.

Pours a clear gold with white medium size bubble head. The aroma is light with vague sweetness, pale maltiness, floral hop spice and very faint metal. The taste is pretty nice for a hot weather beer. The carbonation heightens the initial flavor of floral hops, citrus lemon bite and pale maltiness. Then the taste slowly fades with some mild malt sweetness.

Bottle. Crystal clear, gold color with a quickly dissipating head. Some hop aroma and flavor but, for the most part not very tasty. Just didn’t do it for me.

A clear, light-colored beer, The Summerfest has a spicy, kumquat flavoring. Smooth drinking with more fullness than a lot of lagers. Great for a hot day.

Poured a clear golden color with a white head that didnt last too long. Light hoppy aroma that is a bit citrusy. Kind of disappointing for a Sierra Nevada beer. My brother made the remark that this would have been better as an ale. Taste was ok with a bit of hop character and fruitiness, but something just wasnt quite right. Decent, but thats about it.

Clear gold with an average, although fading head. Grassy aroma. Light bodied. Very clean and balanced. Malty sweet with mild bitterness. An above average lager.

BMC clone. I sure don’t catch the hop aroma or taste. I love Bigfoot, but I’ll pass on this bland brew.
