craftbeerdesign (731), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Aug 11, 2007 Updated: Apr 4, 2009from bottle at the grand opening party of Hop City in Atlanta... pours a blond with an average white head. this is a very refreshing beer for the spring/summer months... but does carry the Sierra Nevada hop signature. This is one of the hoppiest lagers I’ve had... nice medium size body, very clean with a solid amount of bitterness on the finish. Marsiblursi (1631), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 11, 2007 (Bottle) Pours golden. Oily Saaz aroma with tones of grass, herbs and a touch of flowers. Bready malt and some notes of doughy yeast. Light hoppy flavour with grass and herb like tones. Light oily, perfumey, and even a bit citrusy. Light bitter and light dry. Light to medium body. tangentrider (144), USA Aug 9, 2007 Yellow beer with a very small white head and a nice malty aroma. Flavor has hoppy bitterness. The finish is bitter with a touch of malty sweetness. Fine beer for a hot hay. andyhite (290), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Aug 9, 2007 12oz bottle yields a golden shimmer hue with a wit-style head. smells like grass, minerals, and hidden lemon. smells also like stale yeast. the flavor is a bit on the flat side and more watery than i would have thought. there’s not much of a finish here. it’s almost like SN just tried to fit in with the macro brews. it’s kind of scary. i can appreciate it, especially in 100+ degree weather, but I’ll stick closer to the pale ale side of things. shendrix (478), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 8, 2007 Not a bad lager, and good for a summer day. Poured a clear gold with a robust head. Tasted smooth and crisp, mostly of wheat with a bit of hops, smooth malts, and a strong lemon zest flavor. markas101 (541), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Aug 6, 2007 33 cl bottle, Fargo. Gold colour, thick foamy head, mingled hop and sweet malt aroma. Balanced flavor, perhaps a slight edge to the hops in the finish. Probably could drink quite a few of these. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA Aug 5, 2007 Opened bottle to a very promising aroma: citrus, hops and honey. Pours a golden, foamy (thick) head. Nice malty flavors with medium hoppy kick. Very nice, although a bit expensive. Lots of nice complexities so it is worth it. $7.99 a six pack. 105%. joe19612 (673), camberley, Surrey, England Aug 5, 2007 Bottle. Poured a llight clear with small but lasting white head. A light hoppy aroma. The beer is well balanced hop flavor that mixes the appropriate bitterness with flavor. Crisp, dry finish with slight grassy aftertaste. Slight flavor of malt is noted but not very strong. A very nice summer beer.
