Ritterkreuz (179), Seneca Falls, New York, USA Aug 4, 2007 Updated: Aug 7, 2007Golden Color, very crisp and light with a medium hoppiness, really just perfect for a hot summer day. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 2, 2007 On draft at the Gingerman. Poured a medium gold with good lacing and with a lightly almost wheaty, malty smell with a touch of hops and sweetness. Very nicely balanced, yet simple and subtle smell. Taste at first is a nice crisp lightly bitter hop bite, followed by a smooth honey malt taste in the finish. Very refreshing and perfect for a summer day. Nicely carbonated and just what a crisp refreshing summer beer should be. Simple, but done very well. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 30, 2007 Pours a clear gold body with a white head. The aroma is of cereal, creamed corn and a bit of caramel. Flavour of slight citrus, some corn flakes, light sweetness. chadje (129), Pasadena, California, USA Jul 30, 2007 Pours a light golden color. Smells like a simple lager and tastes like one too. Not bad if you like Lagers, not a fan. bilchak (45), Ohio, USA Jul 29, 2007 nice beer, not the best summer time stuff out there, but a decent brew. drank out of a bottle poured into a shaker. thebeertourist (2753), Oslo, Norway Jul 28, 2007 Bottle. Orangey golden with a creamy little head. Spicy and grassy hop aroma. Good grassy flavours, hay on a malty base. A bit short finish. Medium body, above average carbonation. Refreshing. RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 28, 2007 Decent, if unexciting lager...light citrusy hop nose with lightt bready caramel malt bottom. This light brew is refreshing and can serve as an introduction for macro drinkers to the world of craft beers. UselessGdTaste (363), Long Beach, California, USA Jul 25, 2007 I think this beer is almost perfect for what it is trying to be. Yes...it is a lager. Yes, the beer is yellow. No, the hops do not take center stage. It does make a perfect summer refresher though. It is thicker than most lagers though. Mow the lawn, have this beer, have a great day.
