Commercial Description:
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Beginning Gravity: 11.8 Plato
Finishing Hops: Saaz
Ending Gravity: 2.7 Plato

355 ml bottle. Brilliant golden colour. Tall white head that clings to the glass. Light, but rich malty aroma. Grainy flavours. Very refreshing with sharp, but floral and grassy hops. Quaffable indeed. Little aftertaste except dryness on the tongue. Reminds me of a Kölsch.

Fresh malt aroma with a light apple fruitiness. Deep golden our, thick bubbly head, intense lacing, and slow carbonation. Medium bodied, almost too thick for a lager but still crisp. Very filling, there’s an unexpected hop bite tucked in there. Fairly malty lager with a decent hop presence, seems nicely balanced. Low bitterness with a sweet/tart apple presence. Thick lager, decent brew.

Pale yellow pour, white foamy head. Slight spice aroma. Nice taste, slight hop and grass flavor. Refreshing with clean finish. Good session beer.

A pretty average try. Nothing special about this one. Try a Victory or a Troegs lager.

Draft. Pours a clear straw gold, with a medium white head. Smells of some yeast and light citrus. Mild aroma. Taste is of some grain, yeast, and citrus fruit. Although the flavor isn’t awesome, it is refreshing and crisp. Not a bad summer beer in hot weather.

12 oz bottle pours a clear orange yellow with a white head. Malty citrus and yeast in the nose. Malty citrus flavors creamy and smooth some wheat. Balanced sessionable, decent.

For a lager, this is great! nice lasting head, lacing, etc. Total clarity, apple juice yellow hue. Slightly yeasty and farm-like aroma with an ever-so-slight hint of lemon in the flavor. A definite summer time session beer whether you’re in seek of a slight sun-inspired buzz, or total inebriation; your choice!
