Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Pretty light and wheaty. Generally pleasant, a little hop touch, thin white head with a little tongue bite. Not much malt detected, more wheat than malt. This is what AB and other should stRive for as their standard beer. (Bottle Pour 7/6/2007)

The color was light, pale golden. The head was very thick, foamy, off-white, and laced well. The aroma was citris and hoppy. The flavor was pretty bitter, hoppy, some citris, and tart. The palate was thin bodied. The finish was abrupt.

Bottle. A really nice lighter lager. This beer is clean, crisp, refreshing and smooth. There is a bit of a hoppy tang to it, but it is generously malted to provide a nice balance.

Bottle (35 cl) at Bishops Arms, Järntorget, Sweden. Clear yellow, fluffy white head. Plain bready maltiness, some grassy hops. Light to medium bodied, ok mouthfeel. Good balance with a light sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Decent but uninteresting.

I am not a big fan of summer beers, but this one was pretty decent. Poured a clear golden color with small head. Mild aroma of hops. Taste was malty with a bittering hop finish and moderate carbonation. Refreshing brew.

Nice refreshing lager, worthy of a summer brew. Mild palate, hoppy bitter finish. A little bready which is something I like. A good barbeque beer for the 4th of July.

Bottle... Poured a clear, straw color with a white head. Mild palate for the style. Malt flavors with hops and a tarty finish. I poured this thinking I was going to hate it. It’s not the best beer, I certainly wont try it again, but it wasn’t too bad.
