DarkSong (101), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jun 28, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden color with a small white head. It tastes of hay and grass with a hint of toast and a nice hop aftertaste. This isn’t a bad beer and is nice for it’s style. Birdiebeagle (777), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2009 Bottle 2009 Pours a clear gold with big fizzy white head. The head leaves quickly. Aroma is sweet grass, light hops, and touches of spice. Has a decent carbonation. The flavor is not bad for what it is. Decent balance with a hop kick. For a lager not awful. Light bodied and easy drinking. I got for a cook out and it went well with steaks and hanging by the pool. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Jun 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Thin and simple, light grass y bitterness with hint of hop resins and a malty body. Eh decent. stephenj007 (25), Houston, Texas, USA Jun 24, 2009 A good tasting beer, certainly enjoyable after yardwork. Nothing fancy, just tasty, with a small bite on the finish. baraciisch (138), USA Jun 24, 2009 Flavor is extremely light, almost thought it was a hefeweizen, not much in the way of complexity but I could see myself enjoying it on a nice summer day... Crisp finish with not much that lingers on the palate... Light crisp flavor with hints of banana... Okay beer broozer81 (63), , New Jersey, USA Jun 23, 2009 can we expect much from a premium lager, they are what there made for, to drink in abundance with little depth or character..I thought summerfest was a good representation of the style from Sierra but I was left asking for a little more flavor..Good beer but i prefer a pilsner-style lager with more bite like prima pils... Hopper (271), San Antonio, Texas, USA Jun 23, 2009 If I was going to drink a pale lager I would drink this one over the Buds & Coors. The flavors are well balanced, & easily drinkable Jblauvs (530), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jun 22, 2009 straw pour with a slight fizzy head and an effervescent character. slight hop aroma and light grassy notes. mild malt character in the mouth, but nothing that sets this above many other halfway decent light lagers. So ill stick with halfway decent and certainly drinkable
