Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Absolutely my favorite seasonal from Sierra. Crisp, refreshing lagers are what I like in summer, and Sierra knows what I like. Light straw color, grainy pilsner aroma with very little yeast impact - just a great thirst quenching pils. Don't think about it too hard - just enjoy a beer in the sunshine while it lasts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Kita (1084) - Koper, SLOVENIA - SEP 19, 2014
Bottle, 0.355l. Clear golden color with small frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of herbal hops, must, flowers with some skunky notes. Taste starts with light sweet grainy malt, follows by citric and grassy acidity, crisp and dry mouthfeel, while finish is quite bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Message to Sierra - do not brew this anymore...

Floral nose. A bouquet of flavors. Typical pleasing hoppiness one would expect from Sierra Nevada. Didn't get a chance to pour. Crisp delightful treat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

nose: very floral. popcorn, vanilla. palate: pretty viscous and malty, but the carbonation and hops balance it out nicely. finish is aromatic and lovely. can easily see myself having too many of these

Clear golden color, thin white head. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt, grass. Light sweet, light bitter taste. Too light, even for a "summer beer", but itís refreshing and easy to drink.
