Commercial Description:
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Beginning Gravity: 11.8 Plato
Finishing Hops: Saaz
Ending Gravity: 2.7 Plato
Malts: Two-row Pale, Dextrin Malt, Munich
Yeast: Lager Yeast (bottom fermenting)

A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty - and so is the flavor - a boring beer.

(Bottle 35 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a small, creamy, white head. Lightly sweet, malty aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet, malty notes and some fruitiness. A dry finish without much bitterness. Quite refreshing. 021206

Bottled. Clear golden. Rounded clean maltiness is this beer foremost feature. It’s medium bodied with average bitterness. Fairly well made easy drinking stuff.

Aroma is moderate malty, toaasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, lemon - acidic bitter sweet. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (060908)

Bottled. Mediumsized white head. Aroma is malty, grassy and hoppy. Flavour is quite malty with some grassy and flowery hops. OK, but not very exciting.

Bottle. Quite fruity aroma. A little teaish and smokey. Pale golden colour, small head. OK bitterness. Has some aroma hops, but it does seem a little watery.
