Aroma a bit subdued (a little diacetyl, a little sour grass/hay), but the flavor makes up for it illinismitty (1811), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2006 Updated: Jun 24, 2007Bottle. Pours a very translucent gold, holy filtration batman. It looks like ginger ale soda. Aroma of yeast and lemon. Medium light texture. Flavor of pale malts and bread offset by spicy hops. Smooth pepper and lager like finish. Light without being watery. This is not bad. I think people are knocking it because its mass produced. Under rated beer in my opinion. UPDATE: 6-22-07- Had a pint on draft, and this years batch is not as good. The herbal and spicy hop finish was not very desirable. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA

First flavor notes are honey, hops, a little citrus (apple), and earthy. finish is bitter and dry. Very refreshing beer. Goes down good. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2004 Sierra Nevada can do lots better than this stuff. Clear amber with frothy white head. Had to practically suck beer up my nose to get any appreciable aroma. It was hops and malt, I guess. Medium body and a completely unimpressive taste. Just didn’t do it. I almost feel guilty giving such a low rating to a SN beer, since I have such a high regard for their stuff in general. But this is effectively not too far from macro stuff, a lightly flavorful lager that’s thin on the hops and, alas, in the taste. pilsnerrogge (1797), Finspång, Sweden
