OKAY, but really nothing special of note. Fairly easy drinking, but there’s a litany of brews I’d rather have on a hot sunny day. Still love SN, just not crazy about this offering.

Transfer from BA review on 8-21-12 - Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Poured a light golden color with a two finger white head. The head fades rather fast to leave a moderate level of lacing. Smell – The aroma was of a light b ready malt mixed with notes of lemon and pine hop aromas. Light, but quite refreshing. Taste – The taste was overall much hopper then I would have originally expected. It began with a malt base with some light notes of a caramel nature. A citrus hop flavor was present up front. While mainly lemon in taste it did have some grapefruit mixed with in as well. Soon some pine hop flavors come to the taste with the lemon hop tastes also being accentuated by a lemon peel taste. These flavors take the taste to the end. Overall it has a crisp flavor with some nice hoppy notes. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was of average thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Both made it very drinkable, but yet did not take away from the maltier and hoppier flavors. Overall – A great session beer on a warmer day. It has a nice lighter-yet pronounced enough hop flavor to make for a crisp, refreshing, flavorful beer.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cereal, lemon and Rich Tea biscuits. Flavour of grain and light citrus. Thin body with a light, oily mouthfeel. Simple, nice.

Pours yellow with a frothy head. Malt and wheat with spice and flower taste and aroma. Some bitter but not too much to be refreshing. Not as crisp as other lagers.

Pours out hazy yellow with a billowing white head. Undistinguished bready/grainy aroma with weak German hops. Much improved in the flavor, sweet honey and the hops rev up to a spicy and slightly citrusy counterpoint. Lingering bitterness and yeasty aftertaste. Good substantial mouthfeel. It’s fine, but there are plenty of better crisp pilseners now coming out of American breweries.

2014 12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a one finger white head that leaves mild lacing. Aroma has some typical pilsner notes. Grain, slight fruit. Taste is balanced but with a slight sweetness. Grain, sweet caramel, and traditional hops. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Clean and full in the mouth but pretty refreshing. Overall a pilsner with a sweeter twist. Tasty and refreshing.

Bottle from Saveur-Biere - Color: clear blond beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: pils malt with grassy notes. Taste: good carbonation with water sensation. Malt notes, white bread and grass. Aftertaste: water... Small malt presence. Pils style, not what I'm looking for from Sierra Nevada.

Not much aroma, but what I smelled was mostly lagerish. Taste is basic lager with hops thrown in. If that’s your thing, then this beer might do the trick for you. I thought it was okay.
