Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

12 oz. bottle poured into a lager glass. Appearance is a clear straw color with a medium white head. Aroma is a lot of lemon and sour floral scents. Taste is light malts and some funky citrusy flavors. Very smooth, light body. Not bad brew for a hot summer day, but otherwise pretty uninspiring.

Really drinkable! Decent lager aroma and a nice small hoppy bite. I can dig it!

Bottle. Clear and yellow. Aroma is typical pale lager skunk. Flavor is tangy spicy rice and corn. While Perle and Saaz are great hops, this beer just doesn’t make the cut. Damn near a drianpour... What a shame from SN....

Nice Pour for this brew but the head dissapears quickly. Flavor is weak and the aftertaste is grassy.

Bottle into a glass. Pours a very light, pale yellow with a fairly thin white head. Good aroma with no sulfur. Light mouthfeel. Solid flavor with no real flaws, but not very good when it gets warmer. Still, a great brew to drink on a summer day.

Flaske. Frisk og fyldig sommerlager. Godt alternativ til en pilsner. Medium bitter, smage af citrusfrugter- specielt i starten, sager lidt af grandnåle i eftersmagen. Dejlig lang bitter eftersmag. God på en varm sommerdag.

Pours golden with a hint of orange with white head. Lots of carbonation. Pretty well balanced- leaning towards to malty cereal flavors but balanced with enough hoppy citrus and bitter lageriness to make it pretty darn refreshing and enjoyable. Crisp and clean with a nice light finish. Great for summer and really drinkable for a Pilsner. Like a lager with enough Sierra Nevada trademark flavors to make it work.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with a clean white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of citrus, lemon, herbal hop and spice notes, biscuit with some light yeast. Flavor is yeast, spice, and lemon. Light bodied, crisp with a bitter and dry finish.

The body has a golden yellow color with very good clarity and some nice visible carbonation. On top its head is bright white in color, slow fading and makes some nice lacing. It has a light nose of pale clean malt with a spicy and floral hop character. The flavor is medium bodied, crisp and very clean. Dry crisp biscuity malt foams the base for the lightly spicy and floral hops. These hops give the beer a nice overall bitterness. The finish is sharp and dry with some bitterness hanging on. The texture is light and refreshing with active cleansing carbonation.

Pours a clear bright golden color with white head. Cereal grain and subtle hop notes, citrusy, on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes very clean and very light. Great for a hot day.
