Jun 22, 2003 This is an excellent lager, IMNSHO. Absolutely delicious. Hoppy, just like I like, but also nice and malty. I continue to be more and more impressed with the Sierra Nevada brewery.

Aug 22, 2003 Very crisp very refreshing, excellent beer. Some lacing not much head out of the bottle. Only word that comes to mind with this one......Excellent!!! This is a perfect example of a great Lager.

Oct 25, 2005 On tap at Maggiano’s, Chicago, IL. 12 oz bottle from the last six-pack snagged from Whole foods, Deerfield, IL. Clear golden yellow hued having large, rocky white head with good lacing. Fresh, crisp citrusy aroma. Medium bodied with creamy texture. No discernable carbonation. Starts with light nutty sweet malt taste and finishes with light bitterness. A tasty refreshing drinkable beer that should be offered year-round, not just summer. One of my favorite summer beers.

Jun 14, 2007 Oh my God I miss this beer. When I lived in Chico it was this and Pale Ale all the time. Golden with little head and a crisp, clean taste that stays with you; and that’s a good thing becasue this beer is in Sierra Nevada’s top 3 for me.
