I was expecting a wheat beer, like every other summer seasonal. Thank God. On top of doing something different this summer, they make it a very good example of the style. Light bodied, tart hop finish, with a smooth maltiness up front.

Pours a clear yellow with an alright white head. Good pilsner malt aroma with a light hop note. Taste is about the same pilsnery and a light hop bitterness on the finish. A good medium body with a crisp clean balanced taste. A good lager for a warm day.

Tap. Clear golden body. Aroma has light tones of fruit. Smooth mild taste with maltiness and fruitiness

bottle. Pours a crystal-clear light golden color with a pretty decent (for a lager!) head- thick, 3/4" with enough active carbonation to keep a layer on throughout. Aromas of bready malt with some yeasty twang and a light kiss of floral hops. Flavor improves over the aroma- nice crisp smooth toasty malt flavor without much sweetness that blends well with a middling amount of hop action- light but crisp bitterness with some nice floral and light citrus flavors. Superbly even, crisp and clean on the palate. A great summer session brew- nothing over the top, but hits the style mark spot on and is dangerously drinkable.

Poured from the tap into a pint glss. The color is a light gold with a nice thick foamy white head and some really nice lacing. No retention as well. The smell is a bit grassy, floral hop flavor with some nice citrus flavor includeing some lemon, and orange. The taste is a bit like a pilsner. some slight traces of hops, with a nice grassy flavor with some orange flavor as well. The beer is nice and smooth, has a bit of a buttery feel that seems to just slight down after every sip. One of the better Summer beers out there.

Bottle. Actually got this for my 21st birthday last year in a six pack. Probably liked it better then than i would now but still a pretty good summer beer, very sessionable without losing all flavor like macro light beers.

This is my go-to lager at the local grocery store. It isn’t my favorite lager, but it is easy to find and has the boldness to compare with the ales I usually drink.
