COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

I get that spicy grassy, floral hop smell with some grainy Pilsner malt. Crisp and refreshing with that spicy hop bite and the Pilsner bready malt with some wheat tastes in there as well. The hops end the beer and give a tangy bitterness just as Sierra Nevada describes. This is an excellent beer for the style and definitely one of my all time favorite summer beers to drink on a hot summer day.

This seasonal brew is perfectly crafted for summer in mind. I like most of what comes from the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and this one is a must for me every summer.

I had this at Global Brew. I thought this had a smooth taste. Very good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Massive head with a slightly cloudy, amber body; nice citrusy nose isn’t strong enough, but the flavor sure is. Wonderful malty, full, well-balanced brew with just enough hoppiness to keep the palate, the best part, alive though also very smooth. Just great.

Straw colored with a corn-starch aroma. Sweet grain with a citric edge that's the only distinguishing agent from some macros. All told this is a good Euro-style lager beer with decent hopping.

The first taste is a litter sour, but once your palate gets used to the taste, the beer is tremendous. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Bottle. A fantastic lager beer. A nice blend of malt and hops to really cleanse the palate. Light white head, nice golden color.

Tap at Bar 29. 2010 Vintage. It’s a travesty that this beer is rated just over 3. This might be the best American Lager I’ve ever had. Pours light gold with a creamy, white head. Nose of sweet grains and light hops. Flavor is sweet to start and throughout, with notes of cereal and fruit. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Crisp, with a nicely bitter finish. This is easy drinking at its best.
