Jun 20, 2005 Couleur blonde dorée d’apparence translucide. Mousse blanche et dégagement gazeux seulement que de bref passage. Grains, houblon floral et quelques pointes citronnées se reposent sous le soleil. Maltée en bouche, une touche de beurre ainsi que de houblons toujours très floraux se terminent sur une finale adéquatement amérisante. Corps d’épaisseur mi-mince semblant convenable pour la tache, carbonatation bien présente et supportrice. Se boit dangereusement bien, une belle bière d’été.

Z crisp and clean lager. Like the best of the Northern German pilsners. Sometimes this is excactly what you want.

Sep 27, 2006 Probably my favorite summer beer (especially since they don’t gunk it up with any herbs or other additives). Very crisp, hoppy, and refreshing. Perfect for summer.

Nov 29, 2006 Updated: Mar 30, 2007I haven’t had a decent premium lager in a while, so that’s maybe why I’ve given this one a higher score than others. Gold color, with a respectable, yet mostly diminishing head. Some lacing. Bread dough/semi-sweet yeast/somewhat hoppy aroma. Flavor is a mostly balanced blend of malts and hops, but the hops might have a slight edge in the overall profile. Very smooth transition to a pleasantly bitter finish. Flavorful, refreshing, and a pretty good example of this style of beer. I’ll definitely have another.

Apr 9, 2006 Muddy dark yellow colour with small white head. Aroma is malty and citric, and taste is malty, though not too sweet. Ends on a bread and bitterness flavour.

Apr 23, 2008 Summerfest pours a light golden color with a tall head that lingers. Aromas of skunky citrus and putrefied vanilla cream. Light nectar with ample residual effers. Clean and crisp with snappy hoppsy citrus rind and slight biscuiting. The finish is bittered nicely. This is one of the best lagers out there. A great session beer.
