It looks like ginger ale soda. Aroma of yeast and lemon. Medium light texture. Flavor of pale malts and bread offset by spicy hops. Smooth pepper and lager like finish. Light without being watery. This is not bad. I think people are knocking it because its mass produced. Under rated beer in my opinion. UPDATE: 6-22-07- Had a pint on draft, and this years batch is not as good. The herbal and spicy hop finish was not very desirable. kmweaver (2503), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a clear, bright honey-golden color; fluffy white head with decent retention and mixed-bubbled lacing. Lightly sweet aroma of basic malt sugars, honey, rather light bitterness; a touch of cardboard / paper notes as well. Lively presence in the mouth: zesty citrus and mineral bitterness at the front of things, a highly effervescent carbonation; honestly, a touch sharp at the front; definitely a charismatic lager: a solid hop presence, assertive bitterness, enough light maltiness to keep things presentable; highly drinkable beer. Very pleasant, bitter perimeter of citrus and mineral notes makes this a nice, mouthwatering bit of business. A medium finish of toasted cereal, zesty minerals, and lightly bitter at the far end. eaglefan538 (2405), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2006 One of the better pilsner tasting beers I’ve had. Very crisp and refreshing, this one poured a standard golden color but with a large head (all initial carbonation with dissipation fairly quick). The base was grassy and malty with a pleasant hoppy finish. Nice approach to summer without the typical citrus / lemon additions. HopBackDoc (395), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a clear golden color with small head. Mild aroma of hops. Taste was malty with a bittering hop finish and moderate carbonation. Refreshing brew. theraven1971 (13), USA

Nice head, close to 2" leaving ample lacing. Soft, hoppy aroma. Hops layered over light fruitiness in taste. Makes me think more of a wheat than a lager. Nice, light and drinkable. thornecb (1822), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2008 Pours bright gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly subsides leaving no lacing. Sour/sweet beer mung aromas. Tastes like it smells -- like a day old sour lager. morrdt (609), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 3, 2006 Six pack. Pours a nice golden color with a firm white head. A very light lager aroma with nothing too distiinguishing about it. Very light and clean drinking, almost seems like a light beer. Clean finish. Very nice. Could use a little more bite. actone (11), USA
