COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Light golden, white head. Light body. I agree with previous in that there is a little skunky something going on there. I enjoyed it however. Tastes like a clean ale with a hop bite.

This beer is not summer at all. This is a pale ale wrapped in a summer label. ... Nothing special, I would not recommend ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pilsnery and quite wonderfully fruity smell...taste is very slightly sweet...not as fruity as smell though, hops come out more...one of the best pilsner styles I’ve had....

Aromas of grass and bread crust. Clear gold with a fully fading head. Dry, bitter, and bready. Light body with low carbonation and a dry finish.

Pours pale yellow and clear. Slightly fruity with a crisp finish. Not bad for the style but not my style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear straw with a finger of coarse white head. Settles quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is bready, pale, malty, slightly medicinal. Flavor is bready, grain, cereal, pale malt. Moderate carbonation and light body. Found this to be lacking and disappointing from a brewery that is usually top tier, not nearly as good as I remember.

Pours the same as a Budweiser heavy does, except with a large white head that sticks around instead of fizzing out immediately. Aromas of some noble type hops, a touch skunky. Taste is pretty clean and refreshing. I like this beer pretty good for what it is.

Pours a very clear straw color with two fingers of white head with decent retention and lacing. Aroma of grain and some malt sweetness with some earthy hop character. A bit of sweetness from the malt and some cracker flavor from the yeast. The saaz hops are apparent and give the beer a nice spiciness and earthiness mid palate and help it finish with a crisp but moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is semi creamy with a medium body and medium carbonation. A nice take on a pilsner/lager from a brewery that mainly does ales. Lots of enjoyable flavor and very easy drinking, make this as advertised, a great summer beer.

I had this at Global Brew. I thought this had a smooth taste. Very good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
