2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The taste is ok, but there’s not much depth or body. I expect a better beef from Sierra Nevada, and was disappointed in this beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden color, white head. Aroma of hay and citrus. Medium body. More complex than most lagers, nice citrus notes, good bitter finish.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours lemonade yellow with an average white head. Aroma is straight from a skunk’s butt. Taste is equally horrid. Skunky, light with a bit of grain thrown in for some reason. This is not a good beer at all.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - fair size foamy head, medium yellow color, pretty balanced with sweet malt and earthy hops - not bad but nothing special

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale gold color with minimal lacing. Smells mildly of hops and tastes about the same. A nice beer for the summer time, but sadly just like all of the other session summer ales.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pours clear golden with a dense white head. The aroma is clean. The taste is that peculiar American microbeer hop aroma / residual malt sweetness balance that I do not really care for. Not sure why they cannot or will not produce a classic lager like in CZ or Germany, but perhaps they do not know how to do it. Summerfest tastes like an ale brewery trying to make a lager, but missing the mark. It makes me wonder why they even waste their time with this stuff.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours pale straw yellow, frothy white head. Nice lager aroma. Taste slightly more malt then I was expecting which gives habit more sweetness and body. Also, slightly floral and a bit musty. Not quite as "crisp" as advertised. Very drinkable... good session beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours from the bottle a pale gold with a bubbly white head that leaves quickly. It smells of hay, grain and spice. This carries over to the taste, along with a light bit of citrus. Some sweet notes, too. It’s fairly light on the tongue, with a pleasing amount of carbonation. It’s not quite as substantial as a traditional pils, but is nearly perfect for a summer lager.
