Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

12 ounce bottle at Bob and Susans Plain Steet Bistro. Very smooth start and even smoother finish. I plan on drinking a few more this summer. I hope Bob orders some more.

Very pale clear gold within quickly disappearing head. Full mouth feel with prickly carbonation. Lightly sweet malts with a nice balance of hops. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From 12oz bottle, single cost around $1.50 at Trader Joes

Aroma: hay, floral, herbs, vanilla,

Appearance: pale, clear, white foam,

Taste: lightly bitter, light sweetness,

Palate: light body, slick feel, average carbonation,

Overall: Not a bad lager. Very smooth. Easy to digest and drink. Nice hops and malt. Crystal clear/clarity. Good with food, but Im not sure why Im not enjoying this as much as I feel like I should be. Very well made and no flaws, just nothing special. A nice, easy lager with some hops.

Draft @ the source. A very light yellow b2 finger solid white head. Big bubbles. Simcoe aroma. Pine, walnut and lemon peel. Good carnation bite. Lemon and orange and orange soda. Excellent mouthfeel. Lacks in bitterness and the mouthfeel is overwhelming for a 5% beer.

After reading ratings wasnt sure whether to try this but saw this would be the 2,000th rating so here goes. 355ml bottle at Beer Station, Xiamen. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt and grain with some hops. Bittersweet finish.

12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988 from Dumpster Box No. 2. The pour is a clear golden yellow with a thin cap of white head that falls down to a collar. The aroma is very metallic and not good. It's like an old lager for sure. Lots of corn and light sweetness. It's definitely not that great. It's just got nothing happening. Bleh. The flavor is sweet corn and light nothing. It's incredibly one dimensional. There is a little bit of a sweetness and some leafy hop, but it's just not good. The mouth feel is crisp and light with a pretty decent carbonation and a lingeringly sweet, metallic aftertaste. This one is incredibly one dimensional on the flavor and finish, and I don't care for it at all.

Bottle shared with koleminer20, out of Dumpster Day box #2. Bottled April 16, 2014. Whoops. Aroma is metallic, sweet corn, grain, boring. Appearance is golden, white head, slight haze from the end of the bottle. Taste is metallic, slight hops, sweet corn, not much else. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light carbonation, metallic aftertaste. Overall, about right for a pilsner, boring and barely drinkable.

Bottle. Clear gold, thin white head. Tropical fruit, grassy hops and floral elements. Hop dominated flavours of tropical fruit, grass and floral notes. Malty finish. Nice light change to the usual ales. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle. Good example of style, slightly hoppier than I expected which was very nice. Not normally my style but still worth it.
