Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Pours a straw colour, nothing very special looking, although clean.
Aromas are that of a lager, but with some light strike and oxidation - this bottle is old, I think :(
Flavours carry much of that age, not going down too well. Sweet, grainy, very little hop and too much off flavour. It might be better fresh, but still not great I don’t think!

I understand that lagers are suppose to be smooth and drinkable. This one is just that without the corn or other adjunct. Pours Budweiser yellow with a soapy white cap. Aroma has a little tiny spicy hop character... that is it. Flavor is much the same but with a bready malt mixed in. If your in the mood for something extreme, this one’s not your guy. If you want a laid back summer beer this is on point. Slight spicy hops. Bready malts. Light and refreshing. Very good for the style.

Light and balanced offering from a original craft brewery. Nice hop bitterness but not overpowering. Clean finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured into a lager glass from can. The hops are soft in aroma but a bit more bitter in taste than what I expected. Very light bodied, crisp, clean and refreshing. Good for boating, camping and beaching.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a golden body with a foamy spotty head. It left some light rings. The lacing was light and speckled along the sides of the glass. There was barely any carbonation rising. The smell was sweet and had some pepper tones to it. It was fresh yet still some light grains to it. The taste was well balanced with the hops and a slight yeastiness at the end of the taste, gets peppery as it warms. On the palate, she sat fairly light with a moderate amount of carbonation that was felt. Overall, this is a good beer and I would have this again.

Gold color with a nice head. Taste is citrusy, crisp and somewhat bitter. Citrus with a slight hoppy smell. A good beer for summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle served in a snifter. Decently flavoured summer beer, could use some more body.

I find it very difficult to find the redeeming qualities in summer beers. Its rare to have one that achieves all the goals that the brewer makes, and this is no exception. Crisp, clear, muted hop tones, the lagering only makes this cloying with the addition of the munich malts. Blah
