COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale yellow in color with a nice frothy head that dissapated slowly. The aroma was that of grass and citrus. The flavor was mildly bitter with a nice hoppy aftertaste. The mouthfeel was creamy and refreshing. Overall a nice summer brew but nothing special. Would be good on a hot day!!

Floral, spicy hops--leaning toward spicy/herbal in aroma, floral in the flavor. Lager yeast character; Light bread/bread crust, sweet malt. Moderate bitterness in finish/aftertaste.

Pretty decent lager with a significant hop presence that lies somewhere in between that of highly hopped lagers like Prima Pils and other more traditional lagers. Good for the summer but I would rather have Pivo, Scrimshaw or the aforementioned Prima.

Pretty good summertime beer. They’re cheap and available pretty much everywhere.

From a can. Pours an unclear pale orangey-tan with an off-white head. Aroma has pale malts, some fruit and old liquor store floor. Taste is of sweet malt, fruits and some bread. Light to medium bodied. Any easy drinker but not one with a lot of taste.

Pours a clear golden straw with a white head. Typical lager aroma. The pilsner taste is very earthy and woody. Finishes dry and leaves a hop flavor that is clean. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2013 bottle. Pours golden hay with a persistent white head, moderate lacing. Big floral hop aroma without being artificial/perfume. A bit of bread and grain. Taste is lightly sweet, an upfront hop bite, grassy, and cereal at the finish. A pleasant, fresh grassiness really lingers. Very smooth, very refreshing on a warm day.

12 oz. bottle. Clear pour light gold with a small white head. Medium sweet taste and light body. Not a huge fan but a satisfying lighter brew none the less.

Crystal clear pour. Straw color. Bright white medium head. No lacing. Very bready and mild earthy hop aroma. Lager yeast aroma as well. Very crisp and pretty bitter flavor. Bready/biscuity flavor. Clean finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Bottle. Clear golden thin white lacing. Aroma of grasses, bread, hint of floral. Medium sweet taste. Light body, crisp dry finish, lightly bitter. Not a huge fan of the ’tangy hop bite.’ Ok overall.

12oz served into a Dog Fish Head shaped pint glass. A - Pours a clear golden body with a bright white foamy head. S - Sulfuric lager yeast, grassy hops, lemons, spice. T - Spicy noble hops, yeast really comes through and shines above a clean pilsner malt base. Some lemon zest on the back end. Finishes super crisp. M - Lively carbonation, light body, clean and crisp. I always look forward to this offering. It’s a very clean and refined beer. Serving type: bottle 04-27-2012
