COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a small, fizzy white head. Aroma: Pale malt aroma with notes of floral, spicy hops. A hint of vanilla and lemon drops. Taste: Pale maltiness with a punch of spicy bitterness. Floral flavor with a crisp with a light, lingering spice on the tongue. Palate: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Oh yeah, a nice change from all the BIG American beers I had over the winter. It’s friendly and refreshing.

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent thin yellow color, extremely white thin ring about the glass for a head but with zero lacing, light carbonation. Aroma of a "Euro-lager" (I gotta research the combo of hops again, it just reminds me of a lager made in Europe) and grass. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt tastes like corn got into the brewing process to me at least, middle holds up well, finish is mildly crisp, but could use a good kick in the nuts.

Standard medium, yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma is faint hops, citrus and pine. Taste is lightly bitter, yet crisp. Hops with some fruit, yet not overly sweet at all. Finishes clean. not bad.

Sierra Nevada’s Summerfest 2015 Crisp Lager. It pours a bright clear gold with a foamy white head. The aroma is mildly fruity with a cork quality to it and a decent breadiness. Sharp carbonation on a med-light body with a crisp dry finish. The taste is a bit earthy then biting herbal hops and some flatbread malt sweetness. Refreshing on a hot day, not the best Czech lager I’ve had but they’re near the mark of what the style should be. Decent.

Bottle at jerrys wedding. Nose is cheap beer and malt. Gold and thin. Some spice in there but malt kills it and it really isn't that good. Would go elsewhere.

Pours a light amber from a bottle, slight white head made from largish bubbles resulting from a vigorous pour. Aroma of biscuit, some grass. In addition to that, some lemon in the mouth. Good pilsner, I'm usually kind of down on the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It's pretty bland with no excitement. But that's just how pilsners are. It's refreshing nonetheless and good for a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Aroma is somewhat sweetish, bit strange, grassy hops. Pale yellow color, white head. Sweetish, grainy flavor, grassy hops, medium bitterness. Expected more, pretty average pilsner, no summer feeling.

Didn’t really do what I wanted it to do. Wasn’t crisp and light enough for a summer easy drinker, but also wasn’t hoppy enough to make a good slow sipper.

Sierra Nevada Summerfest is a beer I had tonight. Middle of the pack pilsener.
