COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summerfest is a delightfully refreshing example of a traditional style lager beer. While lighter in body than our ales, Summerfest displays significant hop aroma and a tangy hop bite. The long lagering period adds a smoothness that makes this beer a great summertime treat.

I get that spicy grassy, floral hop smell with some grainy Pilsner malt. Crisp and refreshing with that spicy hop bite and the Pilsner bready malt with some wheat tastes in there as well. The hops end the beer and give a tangy bitterness just as Sierra Nevada describes. This is an excellent beer for the style and definitely one of my all time favorite summer beers to drink on a hot summer day.

Bottle: Straw-yellow body with a silky white head. No lacing left behind. Aroma is grainy with some bitter, earthy hops in the background. A touch of lemon zest... Maybe some cereal. Not much going on, really. Flavor is light, too. Pale malt, milled grains, oat, a touch of lemon & orange zest, faint yeast. Even a small touch of clove (?) in the finish. Overall, just kind of vapid & bland. Crisp mouth feel, light bodied, finishes clean.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours clear golden, two finger quick white head, some lacing and some retention. Aroma of grass and light citrus. Taste is nicely balanced lightly sweet, light earthy bitter. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, mouth feel is a little thin. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of grass, herbs, lemon, mango and hay. A nice refreshing summer Pils.

Draft. Moderately grassy nose with a light pepper character. Moderately bitter with a grassy and almost astringent hop finish. A tad dry. Decent.

12 oz. bottle from Cashwise in Williston. Appearance: finger white head, straw color, clear, light to no lacing. Aroma: light wheat, crisp grassy hops with notes of citrus. Palate: light body, crisp, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Taste: sweet wheat and malty biscuit into pilsner hops with notes of lemongrass. Overall, very drinkable, very crisp, very good on a summer day. Nothing amazing all things considered though.

You can’t expect this style to wow u anyways but still makes for a good lager with extra flavor compared to its cheaper counterparts

Clear yellow. Frothy white head. Skunkish. Grass. Grain. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for this, but it came across like a sort of premium bud light... Did not care for this. I’ll give it another try if I find it at a pool party.

Bottle. A: Light, clear gold with quite a few bubbles running through it. Fluffy white foam head, light lacing. N: Graininess, some white grape, white peppercorn, lemon rind, minerality, very floral. T: Moderate bitterness and sweetness. M: Light body, fizzy carbonation, no alcohol presence. O: A tasty, clean Pilsener. It has a solid malt base to hold up under a big hopping. It seems like it’s missing a couple components which bring it up to Heater Allen levels, but I would have this over and over.
