COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Cloudy orange amber with white head. Initial soft bread, yeasty, malt notes, some soft fruitiness which is rapidly overtaken by a pine like, herby hoppy flavour. Just a tad flabby, not as sharp as I expected, but dominating and lasting. Pretty reasonable overall.

12oz bottle. Clear amber brew with lots of sticky white head. Pine and citrus hop explosion - flavor is balanced with lots of caramel malt and a good hop punch.

Bottle from mybrewerytap.com. (I think). Hazy amber and a thin white head. Taste of root vegetable and citrus. Tasty indeed.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2012 Chalk one up for truth in advertising. This beer is almost exactly as described - deep amber colour, nice tight head, bready malt and pine hops on the nose, big hop flavours and a clean dry finish. Threre?s some bitterness, but it?s very well balanced. The palate shows some nice tangy fruit that goes on and on. Very good American IPA.

Cloudy deep gold with large foamy head. Fresh hop aroma. Big herbal-citrus-pine hop flavor is up front, balanced with a caramel and fruity malt base. Finish is long, hoppy, & very dry. A bit of an astingent aftertaste. This is very good, although a little to sharp for my liking. For me, not a top-tier IPA, but not too far off.
