12oz right from the bottle. Aroma is piney resin, strong citrus hops, and a nice caramel nose. Flavor is downright hoppy and full. Resin, citrus, and sweet malts all in this guy. For 7.2% this awesome and undectecable.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 marcus (5015) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 29, 2009
This amber ale poured with a decent beige head and a floral hop aroma. There is a delicious and carbonated caramel malt flavor with some toffee and a grassy finish. Very pleasant.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 graham515 (536) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 28, 2009
Pours a beautiful ruby-copper into the glass with a frothy head. Aroma is straight up pine and citrus. Very little malt fragrance in the nose. Flavor is just as the aroma would suggest. Great for an over the top hop presence, but lacks malt complexity and has a bit thin of a body. Still, for 7.49 a six pack this is a good buy.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 maltdog (592) - Colorado, USA - APR 28, 2009
Pours stunning pale amber, sporting a picture-perfect whipped cream head. Glam hop aromas burst from the glass… tangerine, pine needle, bubblegum wrapper… and then whiplash into spicy/earthy herbality. Dank and fruity. Unbelievably, the ale tastes even better than it smells; cookiedough malt supports the Hawaiian Punch/grapefruit/ spicy-cedar hop flavor. In the mouth, the beer exhibits nice viscosity and "tooth", but falls a little flabby. A minty finish precedes the firm, bitter aftertaste. Superb.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 fidelis83 (1589) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - APR 28, 2009
Pours dark amber with a tall off white head that has great retention. Aroma is pine and citrus, toffee, light caramel, passionfruit, toast and a little grass. Flavor is caramel, toffee, toasted white bread, freshly cut grass, lots of light fruit notes, with a mildly bitter finish. Palate is medium thickness with a mild carbonation and a fairly slick feel all the way through. Good stuff, better IPA’s out there for the same price or less though.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Indra (2476) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - APR 28, 2009
12oz. bottle. Piney, citric, sweet aroma, floral and juicy with suggestions of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, spruce, mild spice, honeyish malt notes and hints of hop resin. Mostly clear light-medium amber color, head is subiding but leaves some nice lacing behind. Definitely hop forward, but with a very enjoyable depth of flavor from start to finish, with sweet, caramel, toasty malts, tropical and citrus fruits, as well as plenty of fresh, spicy, piney, grassy, nicely bitter hops that provide an extremely refreshing quality and a certain degree of dryness towards the finish. Smoothly effervescent, slick and oily on the palate, body is medium. Really pretty nice, overall.

pours golden orange with a white 2 finger head that leaves lacing all down the glass. nose is all citris with hints of pine. taste very grapefruit bitter upfront and finish of sweet malts. this is very balanced for a extra ipa. mouthfeel is lively but not overly carbinated. overall this is the best year round beer SN makes and at this price it will be a staple ipa i know i can find anywhere i go

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 harrisoni (10950) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2009
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2009 Bottle at the Spotify tasting. Clear amber/copper colour, lasting beige head. Lovely leafy hop aroma. It’s got a lot of toasty malts and huge loads of hop on finish. Good lime and grapefruit flaovur.3.9/5 Re-rate, bottle from Utobeer, very toasty on the malts, the hops are good, maybe, just a little drop in the rating for a touch of emptiness in the mouthfeel in the middle. Bit too sweety toffeeish too.
