COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is resiny hops. Sticky malts with a bitter, piney finish.

Copper body, white head. Big amount of hops with piney and citrus notes. Some bready malt. Bitterness is little too much on the harsh side. Enjoyable, but I was waiting for much more..

I love this beer, my only complaint is that the bottles are too small. Pours a dark amber, more sparkling than anything, decent head that didn’t last, hoppy citrusy nose, great flavour long bitter end. Fantastic.

12 oz. bottle, pours hazy dark orange with a sizable white head. Aroma of pine hops, citrus, grass and herbs. Flavour begins with bitter pine hops, and balances out later with caramel, ending again on bitter hops and citrus. Excellent IPA.

Bottle. Clear amber with a nice head that stays for quite a while. Lots of piney hops in the aroma, citrus, a little caramel. Quite bitter at first, medium body, nice mouthfeel. A solid beer that makes me want to pop open a second bottle

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2014 One of my favorites. good hoppy nose; golden / amber color; very strong taste of hops; medium body, lively, bitter finish....overall a good strong hoppy IPA. Have been having trouble lately getting FRESH Torpedo, but at last they bottle date their beers (vs some of their fellow brewers!)

The aroma is citrus like. It kind of reminds me of potpourri a little. It had a nice full head at first then quickly went away. The color is sort of amber-ish and copper. Not very bubbly. It had a piny smooth flavor up front. Then a hopiness as it went down. The taste lingers at back of the throat

Lovely IPA! What’s not to like? Big, but not in-your-face, hoppiness at just the right level for me. Flavors of grape, lemon, pine, resin and bright spices like cumin and cilantro. Some bright fruitiness is also present. All this lies over a malty and slightly caramelly backbone. The bitterness is brisque and invigorating. I need to drink this more often.

Bottle from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon, 13-07-10 consumed 14-07-10 Pours dark gold with large white head, some pine on the nose. Tastes is piney and citrus but also with plenty of conforting sweetness to just keep the bitterness at bay. A gentle tongue burn but its only slight, some hoppy burps are assured later, its very good and most enjoyable. A7 A4 T8 P3 Ov15
