3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Finally got around to this one, no clue why it took so long. To me, a perfect example of what dry hopping does. You get a huge resinous/piney nose and palate from it. Almost tastes oily. Very refreshing.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
One of the hoppiest beers I’ve had. Copper color. Hops dominate everything. Great hop head beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Barely cloudy, reddish amber with a lingering off-white head. The aroma blends pine, grass, and grapefruit nicely, while the flavor puts the floral and pine to the forefront with just the right amount of bitterness on the finish. Great palate and lacing, a nice IPA.

Pour from bottle into Estrella Damm tall pint glass. Snow white head sits in nice contrast to deep bronze liquid. Aromatics marked by a duel between pine and grapefruit. [This bottle may be light-struck, but I’ll continue my review based on past experience with the beer.] Huge, earthy flavor. I’ve always thought of Torpedo as a liquid pine cone: I’ve never experienced pine notes in a beer quite like I have with this one. Some heat from the ABV, but the beer stays nicely dry, which is how I like my IPAs. Great IPA, as we’d expect from a hop-deft shop like Sierra.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours a nice copper color with a white head that does not disappear. the aroma is strong in cirtrus hops. and very little malt.. the flavor is bitter through the entire thing.. but with a nice hop flavor up front with malty backing.... the body is a medium body where its not too much. overall i really like this one... (im a hop head anyways) i would recommend it to anyone that likes a good amount of hops!
