Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Very well balanced classic style American IPA. The malt is substantial enough to balance out the hops yet as a hop head this is also a weakness especially when it is advertised as having "massive hop flavour". Its hoppiness is pleasant but lacks bite and is a bit mild. Very well done beer but lacking something exceptional.

Beautiful beer. Great aroma containing caramelized sugar, toffee, and tropical fruit. Stealthy bitterness. Creamy. Taste of tea, unripe red currants, and cola. Mint is also present.

Veldig god IPA. Frisk og fersk humle. Kjøpte denne fra kran på Amundsen. Vanskelig å få tak i på polet.

Poured into tulip glass. Clear with a reddy amber color and the fastest dissipation of head I have ever seen. Little lace from remaining head on sides of glass. "Over the top hop aroma" ? We'll no, I got a lite wiff of citrus and some malts. Taste is East Coast hop, citrus, malts some cereals. Bitter on the finish with lingering malts. Solid and enjoyable. Was part of a 4 way IPA pack.

Bottle from the Bottle Shop, York. Reddish gold colour with a small white head which dissipates quickly. floral, citrus and pine in the aroma. bold complex citrus hops dominate the taste but some malty sweetness comes through after the initial bitterness. a bitter dry finish caps off what is a great example of an American IPA.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein oranges Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hopfig fruchtig, bitter. Geschmack intensiv fruchtig hopfig, stark malzig.

Ok gave this one a try after passing it up for awhile now on the shelves. Purchased this one in a "4 way IPA sampler" from the brewery. Some consider this the benchmark of the style. Well while personally I can think of quite a few I would rate higher this offering is no slouch either. Glad I tried it. Enjoyable. Good pour, lil weak in the nose but compensated in the tounge. Would prefer a lil more malt backbone but can live with the hop forwardness. Good beer from a great brewery

A- Pours a sunset orange hue with a 2 finger, off white head which dissipates fairly quickly. S- Lots of citrus with a toasted malt backbone. T- Very bready flavor, lightly toasted, caramely, grapefruity hop flavor. M- Medium bodied with medium carbonation. D- This is a delicious brew to drink in the summer. I find it exceptionally well rounded ... breadier and a tad hoppier than SNPA but not quite a IPA.
